Thank you all for your proposals and sharing today:

To begin with, the various modes of observation proposed today made me think about the diversity and elasticity of the tools in our hands: observation as intervention, observation of absence, observation by imagination, observation by framing the observer, observation with loose framing or with strictly limited focus,... And also the cruciality of way of presenting a proposal... I had to face with my own tendency to stick to the proposition, which ended up with propositions within a limited and superficial understanding of observation. As a recourse to my own research process I am planning to seriously take into consideration the possibility of stretching a proposition. :)

As a similar point, I've experienced the collective existence today as a mode of diversity. Even under the circumstances of nonverbal communication today, various ways of attending to the proposals in the group created a broadened span of observation, perception and interpretation for me. And the sharing of complicity adds spice to the experience by creating a boldness to attend to proposals to a fuller extent. This points at the power (in sense of potential) of public produced by solidarity via shared activity. However, the quality of visibility of the public was a negative impact on the idea of observation. Integration of our little public to already existing public spaces inescapably became interventions by changing the equilibrium of the spaces that we've attended to.

My further questions and notes about the discussion of public space are integrated into my comments to the posts of Claudia. I have started but it takes such a long time! Thus, to be continued...
